Indian equity indices extended the previous day’s gains on Thursday following a rise in technology stocks.
However, concerns over the US Federal Reserve’s rate hike path kept the gains under check.
The top gainers were Bajaj Finserv, HDFC Life, Hindalco, Asian Paints and Infosys, up 1.7-2.3%.
The top losers were Adani Enterprises, Adani Ports, Hero MotoCorp, Cipla and JSW Steel, down 1.1-11.0%.
